Geoff Leonard
, record collector and long time stalwart of the London DJ circuit. Cut his DJ teeth in the late nineties. Eclectic tastes brought eclectic gigs from DJ residences for Passenger at the legendary 333 club in Old street to Elements at The Electrowerkz. Played at countless warehouse parties all over the capital as well as promoting his own events over the years. More recently, gigs have included jet set nights out for the Merge festival at the Mondrian Hotel, London’s Groucho Club and the National Theatre. Geoff Leonard will invariably have a groove to fit the mood. Has a fondness for obscure vinyl records and spends more time than necessary looking for them, particularly if it’s Disco, soundtracks or TV Library production music.

Geoff has also been involved with a small output of limited vinyl releases during the mid 2000’s on the Joynt Sounds label including tracks by The Assemblers and Jay Stoner, both receiving airplay from the likes of Giles Peterson, Norman Jay and The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show.

Now his attention has turned to broadcasting on LIKWID, whether it’s a Disco 12” or the theme tune to a 70’s TV show or some obscure film soundtrack, he’ll make sure what you’re hearing, is all about the groove.

Geoff Leonard currently holds a DJ residency at “Disco 54” held every month at one of London’s favourite haunts, The Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
