LukeC - item3 - item4 - lukec@likwid.london

Luke started out playing drums in bands whilst at school and into his late teenage years before immersing himself in club life and djing where he earned his first DJ stripes playing in the late 80s and early 90s at places such as Prohibition, Raw and various underground house parties around London. In 1995 he launched the infamous Clinic night club in Soho where he really cut his DJ teeth guesting at many nights including Soul Movement, Dim Sum and Plan B.

After 6 years running his club he went to work at the legendary Black Vinyl Records and Global Records Distribution whilst getting deeper into promoting and playing at his own parties including Rock da Boat, God Save the Freaks, House Rules at Propaganda plus various Black Vinyl events across London, Germany, Italy and Miami. He also guested for the likes of Chicago’s famous 3 Degrees Global, all night eclectic sets at the legendary Italian Sunday all nighter Clandestino and most recently supporting Mike Dunn at Thunder.

Luke is an avid music fan and ardent record collector with an eclectic taste for all good music that expresses emotion, heart and soul.

Although more known as a deep house and disco DJ, The Sanctuary radio show is an opportunity for him to showcase his love of a broad spectrum of music and play you all kinds of records that, hopefully, will excite you as much as they do him.
