My Dj journey began in the late 80s with a stint Sunday nights at Bensons wine bar, Loughton.

I quickly established myself in radio land with a show on Friends Fm.

Hooking up and working with Ronnie Herel and Bigger at a little club in Barking called 'Chains'.

I got more involved in radio when a group of us, including my very old mate Lee Stephens applied for a legal licence to broadcast for East London, which was successful and Active Fm was born (now Time 1075).

During this time I Dj'd at Showstopper event, Main Event and Caister Soul Weekend. It was at this time I became good friends with one of my hero's, Dj legend, Chris Hill, going on to form the very popular website 'Soulpranos'.

I had a stint presenting Southport TV at the legendary weekend, thanks to another mate and Soul legend, Sean French. I then moved onto Soul 24/7 and Starpoint. My recent ventures include Djing at the very first Ibiza soul week, the Sothern Soul Festival warm up party and Djing at the Celebration Of Life Weekender in Brussels.

In 2010 I founded Back2Back Fm, where I was head of music for five years, which brings me to the present day.....and Likwid is born.

I wanted to create radio that filled the gaps. My very good friend Phil Levene came up with the name, and here we are. I hope you enjoy my little project!

Love & Light. Sheppy
